Normally i don't shop on the miss guided website as from looking in the past i have never got very exited about anything. To be honest I've never bought anything from there at all. However, i saw that Gemma from gemsmaquillage went to the first ever Manchester fashion week and it was sponsored by missguided.co.uk
Missguided is based in Manchester and had a hole day of just their fashion shows at Manchester fashion week. I would of loved to have gone!
Here's the link to the gemmas video that tells you more about her experience

But anyway... after watching the video and hearing that gemma said they had some really nice stuff i thought i would check it out to see their latest collection!
I was really surprised and loved so much stuff! I am defiantly going to suck up to my mum so that she will buy me a few thing, haha!
Another good thing is that they are quite cheap which is also a bonus!
I love the studded hotpants/ shorts that are on the website and i really want to get some.
Here's the website link, go have a look for yourself!

fake nails
I was wondering around primark and spotted some for £1, so i thought... may as well! I wasn't expecting anything amazing but tried them out anyway. They actually turned out okay but the glue was hard to put on so i managed to get it everywhere all over my desk and all over my hands!
I really liked how they looked though so defiantly going to invest in some more expensive ones and experiment painting them and things. I never really needed to put on fake nails before because thankfully i was blessed with long strong nails anyway so that's why it was my first time. Well my first time putting them on myself.
Although i had to cut and file them down alot so they didn't look ridiculous!
But yeah i found it tricky because of the nosel of the glue but if i get some decent glue then it should be fine.
What nails have you used?

blazer
Every girl needs a blazer. I think its a staple for your wardrobe, well that's what i've been told! But i do agree... i got my first blazer a couple of weeks ago and seem to never take it off! It goes with everything and make an outfit look so much more sophisticated. I purchased mine from primark and its just a simple black one. It was only £19 and for me is just right. I didn't want to spend alot of money on it, because they can be expensive and wasn't sure if i was going to wear it alot because i have never had one before.I got a simple black one, however i like wearing black anyway so for me this would be perfect. Also i really like the look of the pastel/fondant pink colour blazers and this would be nice for summer because it would look more summery. Hopefully when i start working in the holidays i will have the money to get one.
But anyway i LOVE my blazer and i truly believe everyone should have one!
Sorry for the crappy photography but here is mine:D

john frieda shine shock review
Personally i love this product.
Its basically a leave in gloss that you put in your soaking wet hair; straight after the shower. The brand John Frieda do ranges of products for different hair colours, i believe there is a brilliant brunette line of products for brown hair which is what this product is part of). Also a line for red hair and blonde hair.
This gloss claims to be a 'high-shine perfecting glosser' and also that it 'illuminates and perfects'.
It certainly give a nice shine to the hair but not sure its really 'perfecting'.
It also states on the bottle that it 'illuminates natural, colour-treated' or 'highlighted brunette hair'.
It does make your hair shiny but i find it kind of leaves my hair dry at the ends, so i ushually use a diffrent serum on top just at the ends.
Another thing i like about this product is the smell. it kind of reminds me of coconut but i dont think thats it. i cant put my finger on it but i do like it. Personally it smells of lanzerote, but thats only because i used it when i went to thats why it reminds me of there... how weird haha!
But anyway, i think it retails at about £6/£7 but i got mine in a travel pack for christmas so dont hold me to it.
Here is a photo of the gloss, thanks for reading

lana del ray
I'm in love with her music at the moment, also i think she is gorgeous! I loved her single video games and love her new song born to die even more. I literally seem to have it on repeat in my bedroom. She is an American singer/songwriter and her real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, she has also been described as a 'self-styled gangsta'.
I think she is just so naturally pretty and her copper glossy hair is stunning!

who has recreated one of Lana's make up looks.

a few of my favrouite recent purchases
Above you can see a few of the most recent things I've bought.
The first picture shows three pairs of earring, two i got from new look which are the two on the outside.
The first ones attracted me because they look really summery and remind me a bit of authentic jerwlery. I really like the blue and gold in these earings and so glad i bought them.
The other newlook earings on the right are aztec studs that have gorgeous turquise, black, gold and pink diamond/arrows? Hard to describe sorry but you can tell what there like by the picture. I really like these earings as the aztec print is very on trend and i personally love it!
Both of the newlook earings were £4.99 however, it was buy one get one free so this was even better.
The middle black feather hope earings are from primark and were only £3. I really love the colour black, my friends call me a goth but i just think the colour is really classy and is always in fashion.
The second picture shows my new lion t-shirt and i think this is so cool! The print is so eye catching and i would probably wear this to dance class as just a easy top to throw on when im in a rush. It was only £5 from primark and i just love it.
The purple dress is from topshop and i got it in the sale a couple of weeks ago. The neckline is a low cut V neck, i might have top find a purple vest top to go under this as its a bit reveling for a family event which im planning to wear it too! I still really like it though, i think it was about £18? cant remember exacly but it was still a good deal.
The bag is also from primark and was only £9. I love brown leather bags and thought i would just get this for a spare to take to school. It quite big, well big enough to fit my essintals in and think its really nice.
ps. sorry the second picture is a bit blurred

glitter waterfall nails
So i thought i would experiment with my nails this week, as i'm on half-term and don't have to go to school. I'm not allowed to wear nail varnish in school which is really annoying. I find it so frustrating that i cant wear it because what difference is it going to make with my school work? I work really hard in class and a bit of nail polish isn't going to change that. Also the fact i have tons of nail varnishes that hardly get used is also a bit wasteful, haha. Anyway, i saw a video on youtube of glitter waterfall type nails ages ago, i cant remember who it was that posted it but i really liked the nails so i thought i would try and put my own take on the design and try it my self.
I used two barryM polishes that i really like to create this look. The first one being number 297 called blue glitter and the second number 317 blue moon.
I used two barryM polishes that i really like to create this look. The first one being number 297 called blue glitter and the second number 317 blue moon.
This was the finished look:
How i did it...
1.Firstly i filed and shaped my nails, i just did this how i normally do it and you should do this step the way you like too.
2. Then i painted my nails with two coats of blue moon (317) waiting for my nails to dry in between coats.
3. Wait until your nails are fully dry form the blue moon colour.
Now here's the tricky part..
4. Open the blue glitter polish and wipe off excess polish, so there is almost none left on the brush.
5. Paint your nail 3/4 of the way down from the top so that its a thin spread out layer of glitter.
6. Next re-dip your brush into the blue glitter polish so there is normall amount of polish on the brush.
7. Next paint the tip of your nail so its a well pigmented part of glitter on the nail.
8. Wait for your glitter to dry and apply any top coat to your nails.
9.Then wait for this to dry and you have your glitter waterfall nails.
You can buy barryM nail varnishes from any high-street shop, but i purchased mine from superdrug for £2.99 each. Maybe you could try this effect with other colours or shades. I'm deffinatly going to, and also i think this nail look would be quite fun for summer as a way to brighten up and give a bit of sparkle to your nails!
